Vinification: This wine is produced from a vineyard situated in the area of Siatista, Kozani at approximately 900 metres above sea level on gravel and limestone over clay. A wine that perfectly showcases the dynamic essence of Xinomavro. While widely planted, this is a completely unique expression of it since it comes from clay, limestone soils and very high altitudes. From the respect for viticulture through organic practices and low vineyard yields, to the winemaking with indigenous yeasts and the use of old oak to preserve primary aromas, this is a creation that impresses with its elegance. Aged in 2,500-litre Slovenian oak foudre for 12-24 months and further matured in the bottle for 3 years before release.

Food matching: Ideal to pair with lamb, grilled meats and mature cheeses.

A very interesting and highly enjoyable approach to Xinomavro, from an area in North Western Greece that’s mostly known for its elegance and finesse.
Deep ruby color. complexity expressed through red fruits (strawberry, cherry, plum, pomegranate), violet, and spices such as pepper.
On the palate, robust yet refined, with silky tannins, excellent acidity, and a lasting finish.
